# Withdraw money

Withdrawals are done in the app only. Open **Transfers** (from Home's **Account Details**, or `/transfers`) and pick the **Withdraw** tab, or click **Withdraw** where the app offers it.

1. Choose where the money goes:
   * **Domestic Bank**: one of your linked US bank accounts.
   * **Wallet Address**: an external blockchain address.
2. Enter the recipient:
   * **Domestic Bank:** pick the linked bank. To send to a new one, link it first.
   * **Wallet Address:** pick the **Network** and paste the **Wallet address**, or choose a saved recipient.
3. Click **Continue**.
4. On **Set Amount**, enter the **Amount** (or click **Max**), check the **To** account, and add a memo if you like. The screen shows the **Estimated Arrival**.
5. Click **Withdraw**. We show the **Fee** and **Total debited**.
6. Click **Confirm** to send it.

You'll see a confirmation and land on your [activity](https://docs.capital.ai/app/activity.md).

Wallets you've sent to before appear in the **To** list next time. A new wallet is held for 24 hours by our broker before the first send to it goes through.

>
> **Convert** and **International Bank** are not available yet.

From code: you can [quote a transfer](https://docs.capital.ai/funding/deposits.md#quote-a-transfer) to see the fee and arrival time, but sending is app-only.
